What is a Personal Concierge and why hire one? A Personal Concierge is one who can be entrusted with a wide variety of tasks from routine errands to party planning ... from handwriting notes and invitations to helping you figure out how to use your cool new PDA ... from finding a handyman to finding the best contractor for the remodel …and on and on … Hiring a personal concierge gives you the opportunity to free up your precious time by taking care of routine and not so routine details for you. Not surprising, the personal concierge industry is rapidly growing as Americans cope with their hectic lifestyles and desire to make time to find some balance and enjoy their personal relationships, work and hobbies. What area does I'll Do It! serve? I'll Do It! is based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the hub of the Berkshires. Services are provided throughout Berkshire County, MA from Sheffield to Williamstown and all points in between. Some services may also be available to those in Eastern NY State - New Lebanon, Chatham areas. How much does it cost to hire the staff at I'll Do It!? Really, it depends on the service! Routine errands and tasks are carried out for an hourly rate of $30.00, which generally includes mileage. Special services on the other hand can be more detailed and not easily broken down into a particular number of hours. Contact I'll Do It!, we can discuss your needs and provide a quote for you. Our billing rates do not include the cost of client purchases. For errands, there is a one hour minimum, with additional time billed in 15-minute increments. All services and purchases must be paid for immediately upon completion. A service retainer may be required, if deemed appropriate. Who provides the services? While many of the services are performed by I'll Do It!; the business has built relationships with vendors who will better serve our client needs - from house cleaners to contractors; personal chefs to professional organizers. We won't recommend anyone for your projects that we wouldn't allow in our own home. What hours are you available? Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. We're also available, by request or design, for events or other tasks that happen on evenings, weekends and holidays. To best serve you, we request 24-hour notice on all services, but we also realize that emergencies come up and we'll do everything we can to accommodate your request. Additional fees may be charged for evenings, weekends, holidays and emergency requests. What if I need a service I don't see listed? Just ask, our listed services are just a sampling and far from exhaustive. We will do our best to fulfill your needs. We do reserve the right to deny service when requests are considered potentially illegal, unethical or unsafe to our staff. Do you offer gift certificates? Sure, gift certificates are available for purchase. They make a great gift for new moms, engagement or bridal showers or just for the person who has everything, but time! Gift certificates can be purchased in hourly increments and can be converted to dollar amounts if the receiver would prefer to use toward special services like party planning, pet sitting, etc. |
